Loss of comfy, roomy both seating available. Will visit again if we're in the area, hopefully for Friday or Saturday night prime rib. :)
Down home cooking with a down home look. Super wait staff, very tasty food, I had breakfast with a group so the gratuity is conveniently added to your bill. Established restaurant in Alliance, Nebraska on the way through town from Highway2 to 385. A short wait time for my food made an impression, too.
Stopped for breakfast on our way through. I had the spicy chorizo hash with two eggs and two blueberry pancakes. Hubby was able to follow his low salt diet with a hamburger patty, two eggs, hash browns and toast. My breakfast may have been one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! I would certainly recommend the place to anyone needing a good (and plentiful) breakfast. It will easily tide us over until supper. Our waitress was friendly and extremely efficient. Our food came quickly and was piping hot.
No substitutions on the menu was a bit of a pain, but they had good coffee and left the carafe so we could serve ourselves as much as we wanted.
Now, to be fair, we were only here during the eclipse - but I'll tell you, these folks were fantastic. Efficient, friendly and very courteous despite the massive flow of people they were dealing with.
Food wasn't too bad, but hubby was in the bathroom when he saw one of the kitchen staff (guy with apron on) exit the toilet stall and walk right out of the bathroom without washing his hands. Hubby said that the smell from the stall left no doubt what the guy was doing and to not wash his hands.......ew! Just one reason we have not been back
Oh, and the food was pretty good, too.
Good service, good food. Clean dining room, clean bathroom, though the paper towels were out in both men's and women's bathroom. There was an air hand dryer, but nobody likes those!
