Yeah, we got all these clues so I actually had to go downstairs and no kidding, ask where I was. I had asked in such a tone that I was implying "what third world country was I traveling through?" She didn't get it.
NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!
First I will start off by describing what I liked. The two staff members were extremely courteous, friendly and very helpful. I had requested assistance on two occasions, initially just after checking in and the following morning just after I had checked out. I commend them for their fortitude while working under such adverse conditions.
Four hotels in the area had accepted dogs of the five in town. These four were
all priced within the same range, so I took a chance in the dark. The first clue came upon arriving, I noticed that only 2 cars were present in the parking lot. Second clue; our room had a linoleum floor throughout. Third clue was the used Tarpon inserter and wrapper in the desk drawer. Fourth clue was that the cable TV channels as well all the channels presented with a blank screen. When I attempted to call the front desk, I had discovered the fifth clue; there was no phone in the room. The sixth clue was the absence of an alarm clock in the room. The seventh clue came when attempting to plug in my phone charger and discovered we had to unplug the room lamps from the non-covered electrical outlets to charge our phones. The real kicker came when I had to hose off the half inch of allergen dirt and dust that had accumulated on the window type air conditioning. Of course this left the tub drain clogged superficially.
Friendly nice clean drinks food and small store. Would recommend.
We moved to this hotel from the sunset we are working in Alliance for a couple months and this hotel is much better and 1/3 of the price. If your looking for a hotel for a week or more for a good price this is the best one. The breakfast is great the staff is very friendly and do what they can to accommodate. This hotel is also very pet friendly and give pet discounts when you stay weekly or monthly. The only bad thing I can say is the bed's are not the most comfortable which is my reason for the 4stars. I know it doesn't look the best outside but the rooms are clean the water is hot and everything has worked good for us.
Not the greatest. We had no towels or soap. When we asked for towels we had to wait for the staff to finish eating before helping us. The rooms were very dirty and surfaces were sticky. There was no screen in our window and there was a lot of debris outside.
Horrible! Never, EVER, stay here. We had a baseball team, parents, coaches stay here and it was so gross. They didn't have enough towels for each guest. The team couldn't even shower after each game. We had to go buy our own towels. We then had to go to the laundromat to wash and dry them because the washe/dryer that they advertise are broken and have been for a month. The water goes from freezing cold to boiling hot. Never could get a comfortable temperature. When we checked in I had to personally clean the tub in my room. About 30 hairs (I won't say what kind) were left in the bathtub and don't get me started on the toilet. The staff were rude for the most part. Nobody would greet you when you came in. They didn't clean the teams rooms until we pretty much made them. They don't have staff the hotel overnight so it is left unlocked and unattended. You have to call the hotel down the street if you need anything. I could go on and on. I feel very bad for those that are booked here for the eclipse. They were bragging that the rooms were going for 350.00 a night! People, sleep outside. Don't waste that kind of money on a place like this!
The next morning I had run into a local construction worker, he looked at me in amazement and said: "Our crew chief won't let any of us stay there!"
