This place was awesome! We kind of stumbled upon it on a road trip and it ended up being one of the best stops. There are 12 to 15 buildings full of cool antiques. It's run by volunteers and is free to visit, great people running the place. If I'm ever back in Nebraska I will be back, definitely a cool place to see!
This place is the most peculiar and amazing mashup of pioneer and esrly Nebraska history though to the 1970s (roughly)! If you love hands-on museums, this place is for you! Plan to spend 1-2hrs browsing the dozens of buildings. Awesome little town. It was closed unfortunately when we were there so we only were able to see it from the car but we are definitely going back when it opens for the season. It's small but it looks like you can learn a lot.
Such a fun museum! There were lots of buildings to walk through and you can get a history tour if you'd like. If you are only making a pit-stop and have a few minutes, I recommend stopping by.
